project of the week...

I finished this project ages ago, but never did blog about it. So here it is. I found this window, gave it a fresh coat of paint and then sanded it a bit. The wreath was a beast to make, it took about ten million years to complete and almost every finger was bandaged by the end of it as a result of multiple hot glue gun mishaps. But at the end of the process, I was pleased with how it turned out (plus the wreath only cost like $2 total since I just used old book pages that I already had...yay). It was a great way to fill up lots of empty wall space.and here is the big picture:
