stats & an update

Aiden had his 18 month checkup yesterday and here are his stats:

Height: 32 1/2 inches (75-90th percentile)

weight: 27lbs (50-75th percentile)

Head circumference: 19in. (90th percentile)

And now a project no "paffi" update: Saying adios to the pacifier was a MUCH better experience than I had anticipated. The first nap without it he cried for about 30 minutes, that night at bedtime he cried for about 5 minutes and since then he has not cried or wanted it at all. With the exception of the one time that he found his secret stash of pacifiers that we didn't know about...he had two hidden inside one of our window shutters. But those are a goners now along with his need for a paffi to soothe. Yay! And in case you were wondering if we've had any crazy good luck with the potty...well, let's just say that the only thing that he's interested in doing with the potty is picking it up and throwing it across the bathroom. So it looks like this is going to take a while.
